The next two years were eerily quiet for Murphy. No shows, no talk of albums or singles, nothing. A time for both introspection and reflection, perhaps. A time to truly decide what he wanted out of his solo career. It was also a time filled with family, taking in the moments that come with being the father of two young children. Additionally, for years prior, both Peter and Beyhan had spent much of their time between London and Beyhan’s original home of Turkey. Wanting to be closer to family, the Murphys would eventually make the permanent move to Turkey. This move would be invaluable to Peter, providing a new scene of rich inspiration and deeper mysticism as he further explored Sufism and found himself immersed in a culture that by its very nature lent itself to musical expression. These interim events would soon shape the fifth solo album fans had been long waiting for.
