Additional notes:

When Bauhaus reunited in 1998 for the Resurrection Tour, the original plan was to reunite for good and record a new album. Around that time, a new song was written and recorded (an early version of The Dog’s A Vapour, with the early version being released on the Heavy Metal: 2000 soundtrack and a later CD reissue of Bela Lugosi’s Dead and with a newer version recorded for the final Bauhaus album, Go Away White). Additionally, a cover of Dead Can Dance’s Severance was recorded. This track was placed on a CD with the intent of sending to legendary T. Rex and David Bowie producer Tony Visconti with the hope that Visconti would agree to produce the next Bauhaus album. Ultimately, most of these ideas never panned out as Bauhaus quickly folded again by the end of the Resurrection Tour. This single was ultimately scrapped and only one studio version was released with the audio from one of the New York City Resurrection Tour shows on the Gotham release.
