This more or less complete recording was created specially for The Hunger (1983) film for the opening scene that Bauhaus performed. Until 2017 through efforts by Bauhaus’s official historian, Andrew J. Brooksbank, the track had been relegated to remaining on the 1/4″ tape it was originally recorded on. It has now been made available digitally for the first time ever (mp3, 16 bit, and 24 bit versions were created, though the mp3 version will likely be the most accessible worldwide).
